NPT Limited’s Eastgate Shopping Centre Update

Further to its notification to the market on 5 August 2011, NPT Limited (NPT) today announced it has settled with The Farmers Trading Company (Farmers) in its tenancy dispute at the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Christchurch. The Centre is owned by Eastgate Shopping Centre Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NPT.

NPT has reached full and final settlement with Farmers on 10 November 2011, the terms of which are confidential.

Eastgate has well-advanced plans to reconfigure its retail spaces and is looking forward to reinvigorating Eastgate with a new mix of tenants.
