NPT Limited Announces Appointment of Acting CEO

NPT Limited (NPT, the “Company”) today announced that the board has appointed Independent Director, Kerry Hitchcock as NPT’s acting Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Hitchcock will hold the position while the board undertakes a search for a permanent Chief Executive Officer.

Mr John Crone, who until recently held the position of General Manager, has also been retained as a consultant to assist in the transition period.

The Chairman of NPT Limited, Sir John Anderson said, “We are very pleased that Mr Hitchcock, who has been on the NPT board and previous Trust board for nearly two years through the corporatisation process, has agreed to act in this position. He brings an ideal mix of skills and experience in the commercial property market to the Company”.

Mr Hitchcock has over 25 years experience in the commercial investment and development sector. He is currently a Shareholder/Director of Charta Limited, a company specialising in design/build projects and commercial development.

Mr Hitchcock holds directorships in Port Marlborough NZ Limited, Kauri Property Fund Limited, and several private companies. He is a member of the Institute of Directors.
